Judge Jennifer Fleet
For the past three years Judge Jennifer Fleet has served Mecklenburg County as a District Court Judge. Since being sworn in, Judge Fleet has presided over civil, criminal, and domestic violence courts. Currently she serves as Lead Judge for Mecklenburg's District Civil Division. She is proud of the gains made in Civil Court where backlogs have been substantially reduced, jury trials are moving smoothly, and money judgments are reaching rapid resolution.
Judge Fleet starts court on time and strives to use resources efficiently, while being ever mindful of the busy schedules of both lawyers and self-represented parties. She is constantly working to streamline the process for moving cases through one of Mecklenburg's busiest divisions.

The District Court belongs to the people of Mecklenburg County. It's where the most important parts of our lives are handled – our family, our money and our freedom.
Judge Fleet is prepared, attentive and impartial to each party appearing before her. She seeks to treat everyone with professionalism, respect, and dignity.
Her goal is to allow the facts and the law to lead to a just outcome.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Judge Fleet started her career with the guardian-ad-litem program in Florida as a court advocate for abused and neglected children. She followed that work with time as a juvenile court case manager working directly with families involved with the juvenile court system.
In 2014 Jennifer became a member of the North Carolina State Bar and practiced as a family law litigator until her election to the bench in November 2022.

ENFO QUE DE SU CARRERA
La Juera Fleet comenzo su carrera en el programa 'Guardiana en Litem" en Florida como defensora judicial de ninos desfavorecidos y abusados. Ella continuo su trabajo como manejadora do casos de la Corte Juvenil trabajando directamente con el sistema do Corte Juvenil.
En el 2014 Juera Fleet se convirtio en miembro del 'North Carolina State Bar' y practico como litigante en la Corte de Familia hasta su eleccion al juzgado en noviembre del 2022.
